11-YEAR OLD CHILD LOCKED UP, FED WITH COCKROACHES AND FAECES BY HER MADAM IN AKWA, ANAMBRA STATE.
An 11-Year Old girl has been hospitalized after she was beaten, locked up and fed with cockroaches and faeces by her madam in Akwa Anambra State.
This came to light after a concerned citizen reached out to a human right group (Behind Bars Right Initiative) and tipped them of the situation of the little house help.
They acted immediately, saved the maid and then took her to Amaku General Hospital, Awka where she is currently receiving treatment.
