Billionaire daughter and popular disk jockey, DJ Cuppy, has stated that her recently released album ‘Original Copy’ deserves a grammy nomination.
The recording academy released the list of nominees for the 2020 Grammy Awards. DJ Cuppy who did not find her name in the list, took to her Instastory and said in a jovial way that her album, also deserves to be recognised by Grammy.
“My album deserves a Grammy nomination tbh,” she said.
The album featured some top-notch musicians like Wyclef Jean, Julian Marley, Rema Rayvanny and Ms Banks, the star-stubbed twelve-tracker and was hailed by Native Mag as “a special album that highlights her strengths and unique style”.
DJ Cuppy is also a philanthropist and Apple music radio host, Cuppy rose to fame through the ranks to become a great lead role as a global pan-African tastemaker.
With her hard work, she has embarked on several projects, including her ‘Cuppy Takes Africa Tour’.
