Just in: Omah lay & Tems arrested in Uganda for violating Covid19 protocols

Omah Lay & Tems has been arrested by the police in Uganda for performing.

The event Omah Lay performed at last night was “The Big Brunch” Afrobeats Edition in Uganda. He shared some videos and pictures from the event via his Instagram account.

A Ugandan police official shared the news of Omah Lay’s arrest on Twitter. Somehow, the real reason behind his arrest was because Ugandan musicians protested on social media that they couldn’t perform in their country while Nigerian artistes flew in and performed. It seems that the government is yet to allow music concerts and big parties in Uganda due to COVID-19 guidelines.

Arrested alongside Omah Lay & Tems are the Venue manager and the Events manager. More details surrounding his arrest and custody would be brought to your notice as soon as words get out.
